Linwood home prices fall in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Linwood fell by $45,200 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $195,750 - a 18.8% decrease over the $240,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Linwood in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Linwood for 2019 was $2,751. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,280. This marks an increase of 20.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
