Martin Lake home prices fall in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Martin Lake fell by $52,500 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $237,000 - a 18.1% decrease over the $289,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Martin Lake in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Martin Lake for 2019 was $2,187. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,912. This marks an increase of 14.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.9%.
