Ramsey home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Ramsey rose by $16,400 while total sales decreased by 76.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $267,000 - a 6.5% increase over the $250,600 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 109 homes sold in Ramsey in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Ramsey for 2019 was $2,827. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,713. This marks an increase of 4.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
