Loretto home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Loretto fell by $35,300 while total sales increased by 300%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $228,500 - a 13.4% decrease over the $263,800 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Loretto in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Loretto for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,148, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
