White Bear Township home prices fall in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in White Bear Township fell by $35,000 while total sales decreased by 21.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 37 homes sold, with a median sale price of $250,000 - a 12.3% decrease over the $285,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 47 homes sold in White Bear Township in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in White Bear Township for 2019 was $3,459. In 2018, the median sales tax was $3,238. This marks an increase of 6.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
