Jordan home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Jordan rose by $14,018 while total sales increased by 31.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 96 homes sold, with a median sale price of $261,518 - a 5.7% increase over the $247,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 73 homes sold in Jordan in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Jordan for 2018 was $3,428. In 2017, the median sales tax was $3,210. This marks an increase of 6.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
