Carver home prices fall in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Carver fell by $19,450 while total sales decreased by 2.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 45 homes sold, with a median sale price of $298,000 - a 6.1% decrease over the $317,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 46 homes sold in Carver in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Carver for 2019 was $4,190. In 2018, the median sales tax was $3,980. This marks an increase of 5.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
