Hamburg home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Hamburg rose by $15,800 while total sales increased by 250%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $150,000 - a 11.8% increase over the $134,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Hamburg in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Hamburg for 2019 was $2,648. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,370. This marks an increase of 11.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
