Chaska home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Chaska rose by $12,300 while total sales decreased by 4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 241 homes sold, with a median sale price of $281,400 - a 4.6% increase over the $269,100 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 251 homes sold in Chaska in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Chaska for 2019 was $3,272. In 2018, the median sales tax was $3,128. This marks an increase of 4.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
