Apple Valley home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Apple Valley rose by $34,250 while total sales decreased by 7.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 504 homes sold, with a median sale price of $275,500 - a 14.2% increase over the $241,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 544 homes sold in Apple Valley in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Apple Valley for 2019 was $2,844. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,718. This marks an increase of 4.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1%.
