Oak Grove home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Oak Grove rose by $36,050 while total sales decreased by 30%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 42 homes sold, with a median sale price of $330,000 - a 12.3% increase over the $293,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 60 homes sold in Oak Grove in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Oak Grove for 2019 was $2,448. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,325. This marks an increase of 5.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.7%.
