Lino Lakes home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Lino Lakes rose by $12,250 while total sales decreased by 51.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 65 homes sold, with a median sale price of $290,000 - a 4.4% increase over the $277,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 134 homes sold in Lino Lakes in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Lino Lakes for 2019 was $3,738. In 2018, the median sales tax was $3,243. This marks an increase of 15.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
