Ramsey home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Ramsey rose by $34,300 while total sales decreased by 40.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 140 homes sold, with a median sale price of $279,200 - a 14% increase over the $244,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 237 homes sold in Ramsey in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Ramsey for 2019 was $2,827. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,713. This marks an increase of 4.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1%.
