Coon Rapids home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Coon Rapids rose by $15,550 while total sales decreased by 44.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 348 homes sold, with a median sale price of $236,000 - a 7.1% increase over the $220,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 624 homes sold in Coon Rapids in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Coon Rapids for 2019 was $2,465. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,221. This marks an increase of 11%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1%.
