Newport home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Newport rose by $27,000 while total sales decreased by 5.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 33 homes sold, with a median sale price of $242,000 - a 12.6% increase over the $215,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 35 homes sold in Newport in the second half of 2018.
