Eden Prairie home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Eden Prairie rose by $23,250 while total sales decreased by 17.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 435 homes sold, with a median sale price of $386,000 - a 6.4% increase over the $362,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 528 homes sold in Eden Prairie in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Eden Prairie for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,323, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
