City of Ada issued the following announcement on Feb. 4.
A few highlights from the Ada City Council meeting last night.
1. We are proud to announce Kim Lewis has been appointed to fill the open council seat. Welcome Kim!
2. The Council will be donating $500 towards the building of Kennedy’s Park.
3. The Council awarded the bid for Park Street and 2nd Ave project to Gladen Construction.
4. The Council accepted a new Union Contract for full time exempt and non exempt City Employees
5. The Event Center room rental pricing schedule has been modified and approved. New prices will be posted to our website.
6. Ordinance 479 Elimination of Wards was passed.
7. 2 new ordinances were introduced amending the Sale of tobacco age to 21 and amending the snow, ice, dirt, and rubish removal.
