City of Aitkin issued the following announcement on Jan. 14.
The Hockey Rink/Pickleball Court project has raised $428,885 of the estimated $456,000 needed to rebuild the facilities at the Aitkin City Park. Watch for upcoming details about the planned groundbreaking event in the spring of 2020. Please come out and support the project by attending the "Happy Hour for a Cause" on Saturday, February 29th from 2 - 5 p.m. Thank you to the Aitkin Women of Today for hosting this event!
