Eagan home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Eagan rose by $10,250 while total sales decreased by 6.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 472 homes sold, with a median sale price of $260,000 - a 4.1% increase over the $249,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 506 homes sold in Eagan in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Eagan for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $2,524, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
