St. Francis home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in St. Francis rose by $2,450 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 60 homes sold, with a median sale price of $199,550 - a 1.2% increase over the $197,100 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 48 homes sold in St. Francis in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in St. Francis for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $1,832, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
