Shorewood home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Shorewood rose by $55,750 while total sales decreased by 10.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 59 homes sold, with a median sale price of $498,000 - a 12.6% increase over the $442,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 66 homes sold in Shorewood in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Shorewood for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $5,414, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
