Eden Prairie home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Eden Prairie rose by $10,800 while total sales increased by 7.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 465 homes sold, with a median sale price of $360,000 - a 3.1% increase over the $349,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 432 homes sold in Eden Prairie in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Eden Prairie for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,323, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
