Minnetonka home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Minnetonka rose by $8,778 while total sales decreased by 9.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 320 homes sold, with a median sale price of $347,500 - a 2.6% increase over the $338,723 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 354 homes sold in Minnetonka in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Minnetonka for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,183, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
