Bloomington home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Bloomington rose by $11,000 while total sales decreased by 13.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 491 homes sold, with a median sale price of $266,000 - a 4.3% increase over the $255,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 566 homes sold in Bloomington in the first half of 2017.
