Little Canada home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Little Canada rose by $51,000 while total sales decreased by 1.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 52 homes sold, with a median sale price of $221,000 - a 30% increase over the $170,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 53 homes sold in Little Canada in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Little Canada for 2018 was $2,730. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,374. This marks an increase of 15%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
