Jordan home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Jordan rose by $13,100 while total sales increased by 34.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 47 homes sold, with a median sale price of $248,000 - a 5.6% increase over the $234,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 35 homes sold in Jordan in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Jordan for 2017 was $3,210. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,170. This marks an increase of 1.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
