Newport home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Newport rose by $21,428 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $205,000 - a 11.7% increase over the $183,572 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Newport in the third quarter of 2016.
