Carver home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Carver rose by $49,750 while total sales increased by 15.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $320,500 - a 18.4% increase over the $270,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in Carver in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Carver for 2017 was $3,794. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,848. This marks an decrease of 1.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
