West St. Paul home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in West St. Paul rose by $51,950 while total sales decreased by 10.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 100 homes sold, with a median sale price of $199,950 - a 35.1% increase over the $148,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 112 homes sold in West St. Paul in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in West St. Paul for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $1,986, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
