Hampton (Dakota County) home prices fall in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Hampton in Dakota County fell by $15,000 while total sales increased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $235,000 - a 6% decrease over the $250,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Hampton in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Hampton for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $2,076, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
