Eagan home prices fall in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Eagan fell by $11,550 while total sales increased by 20.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 190 homes sold, with a median sale price of $229,450 - a 4.8% decrease over the $241,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 158 homes sold in Eagan in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Eagan for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $2,524, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
