St. Louis Park home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in St. Louis Park rose by $20,600 while total sales decreased by 25.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 114 homes sold, with a median sale price of $254,000 - a 8.8% increase over the $233,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 153 homes sold in St. Louis Park in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in St. Louis Park for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,210, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
