New Hope home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in New Hope rose by $4,750 while total sales decreased by 6.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 46 homes sold, with a median sale price of $215,750 - a 2.3% increase over the $211,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 49 homes sold in New Hope in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in New Hope for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,986, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
