Medina home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Medina rose by $60,180 while total sales decreased by 7.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 38 homes sold, with a median sale price of $629,750 - a 10.6% increase over the $569,570 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 41 homes sold in Medina in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Medina for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $5,848, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
