Richfield home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Richfield rose by $14,650 while total sales decreased by 9.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 156 homes sold, with a median sale price of $239,650 - a 6.5% increase over the $225,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 173 homes sold in Richfield in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Richfield for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,687, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
