Bloomington home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Bloomington rose by $31,450 while total sales increased by 4.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 220 homes sold, with a median sale price of $259,950 - a 13.8% increase over the $228,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 210 homes sold in Bloomington in the fourth quarter of 2016.
