North Oaks home prices fall in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in North Oaks fell by $12,500 while total sales remained unchanged with 19 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $557,500 - a 2.2% decrease over the $570,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in North Oaks in the second quarter of 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in North Oaks for 2017 was $6,843. In 2016, the median sales tax was $6,887. This marks an decrease of 0.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
