North St. Paul home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in North St. Paul rose by $21,450 while total sales increased by 34.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 70 homes sold, with a median sale price of $216,450 - a 11% increase over the $195,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 52 homes sold in North St. Paul in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in North St. Paul for 2017 was $2,613. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,346. This marks an increase of 11.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
