Mounds View home prices fall in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Mounds View fell by $2,000 while total sales decreased by 24.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 31 homes sold, with a median sale price of $195,900 - a 1% decrease over the $197,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 41 homes sold in Mounds View in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Mounds View for 2017 was $2,408. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,404. This marks an increase of 0.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
