North Oaks home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in North Oaks rose by $121,100 while total sales increased by 133.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $607,500 - a 24.9% increase over the $486,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in North Oaks in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in North Oaks for 2017 was $6,843. In 2016, the median sales tax was $6,887. This marks an decrease of 0.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
