Shakopee home prices fall in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Shakopee fell by $5,500 while total sales decreased by 13.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were 73 homes sold, with a median sale price of $215,000 - a 2.5% decrease over the $220,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 84 homes sold in Shakopee in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Shakopee for 2017 was $2,756. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,806. This marks an decrease of 1.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
