Savage home prices rise in December 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2017 in Savage rose by $4,686 while total sales decreased by 6.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2017, there were 31 homes sold, with a median sale price of $295,000 - a 1.6% increase over the $290,314 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 33 homes sold in Savage in December 2016.

The median sales tax in Savage for 2017 was $3,452. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,460. This marks an decrease of 0.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
