Savage home prices rise in July 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2018 in Savage rose by $30,000 while total sales decreased by 8.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2018, there were 45 homes sold, with a median sale price of $297,300 - a 11.2% increase over the $267,300 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 49 homes sold in Savage in July 2017.

The median sales tax in Savage for 2018 was $3,585. In 2017, the median sales tax was $3,452. This marks an increase of 3.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
