Newport home prices rise in November 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2017 in Newport rose by $13,500 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $188,500 - a 7.7% increase over the $175,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Newport in November 2016.

The median sales tax in Newport for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,280, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for November 2017.
