Excelsior home prices fall in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Excelsior fell by $146,408 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $563,500 - a 20.6% decrease over the $709,908 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Excelsior in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Excelsior for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $5,453, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for January 2017.
