Columbus home prices fall in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in Columbus fell by $105,000 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $254,000 - a 29.2% decrease over the $359,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Columbus in July 2016.

The median sales tax in Columbus for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $2,762, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for July 2017.
