Bloomington home prices rise in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Bloomington rose by $8,660 while total sales decreased by 3.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 58 homes sold, with a median sale price of $229,000 - a 3.9% increase over the $220,340 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 60 homes sold in Bloomington in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Bloomington for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,927, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for February 2017.
