Minneapolis home prices rise in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in Minneapolis rose by $17,950 while total sales decreased by 3.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were 402 homes sold, with a median sale price of $218,950 - a 8.9% increase over the $201,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 415 homes sold in Minneapolis in March 2016.

The median sales tax in Minneapolis for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,968, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for March 2017.
