Dayton home prices fall in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Dayton fell by $70,100 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $239,900 - a 22.6% decrease over the $310,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Dayton in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Dayton for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,868, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for May 2017.
