Edina home prices fall in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in Edina fell by $50,000 while total sales decreased by 8.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were 87 homes sold, with a median sale price of $530,000 - a 8.6% decrease over the $580,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 95 homes sold in Edina in July 2016.

The median sales tax in Edina for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $6,269, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for July 2017.
